- 制作させていただいた猫ちゃんは、茶トラのチャーくんです。
チャーくんは、飼い主さんが落ち込んでいるとき、そっと寄り添ってきて慰めてくれるような、とても優しい猫ちゃんでした。
作品につけたおヒゲは、チャーくん本猫さんのものです。
飼い主さんは、チャーくんが子猫の時から２０年間拾い集めては大切に保管していたそうです。
チャーくんは子猫の時、母猫とはぐれ、
空腹のあまり、土を食べるクセがありました。
口のまわりがどろだらけ。
それがチャーくんと、飼い主さんとの出逢いでした。
家につれかえったあとも、観葉植物の土をたべてしまうため、大きくなるまで、飼い主さんはスプーンでご飯を食べさせていました。
その時のスプーンは、今もチャーくんの写真のそばに飾ってあるそうです。
印象的だったスプーンのエピソードに思いを馳せ、私も、完成品に小さなスプーンのチャームを添えてお送りしました。
チャーくんご家族様のさみしさに寄り添える作品でありますように、、、。
そんな思いを込めて制作させていただきました。

猫アレルギーで猫に触れんからこれだ！！って思って百均にキット売ってたから買って作ってみた
結構難しいし、針が手に刺さると痛いけど、続けます！
上手に作れるようになりてえ！
もう、すごすぎて 言葉がでてこない。
The portraits at the end makes me cry; makes me realize that the little guys that these sculptures are model after are no longer with us.
Why? Do you only have pictures of deceased people? :)
It can be like so, but it doesn't have to.
Maybe some of them are only a tribute to a fellow pet;
and it's a beautiful way to keep a memory.
I would find a way to have a pet's fur used in a bit of these "sculpture portraits". To really keep a bit of memory from a loved pet.

I cried so hard during this the portrait looks almost exactly like my baby lightning and I’ve just it’s been over a month and a half but I’m still struggling with losing him this makes me both happy and sad with how much it looks like him I miss him... thank you for giving me something to watch to make me feel better
